1. How to book an appointment with SYNLAB lab doctors/allergologist-immunologists?

You can book an appointment with a SYNLAB lab doctor or allergologist-immunologist either:

  • on the Patient Portal or
  • by coming to the SYNLAB laboratory. We will book an appointment once you have paid for the consultation.

Please note that no appointments are made by phone for doctor’s consultations. You can choose a consultation with a lab doctor in Tallinn and Tartu on site or by phone at a pre-agreed time. We offer allergologist consultations at our Veerenni lab on Mondays and Thursdays. If you wish to book a consultation for a child who does not yet have an ID card, please bring a birth certificate with the child’s personal identification code on it.

2. What should I do if I want to change or cancel the SYNLAB lab doctor/allergologist-immunologist consultation?

Changing the consultation time

  • If you ordered a consultation on​ the ​Patient Portal at minu.synlab.ee, you can change the appointment time there, but not later than 24 hours before the beginning of the paid consultation. To do this, log in to the portal at minu.synlab.ee, select “Results” on the right side of the page and then “​Orders”. With a consultation order, it is possible to choose a new time from the calendar.
  • If you ordered a consultation on site at a sample collection point, you can change the​​appointment​ time on the SYNLAB Patient Portal at minu.synlab.ee yourself, but not later than 24 hours before the beginning of the paid consultation. To do this, log in to the portal at minu.synlab.ee, select “Results” on the right side of the page and then “​Orders”. With a consultation order, it is possible to choose a new time from the calendar. In addition, the time can be changed by a customer service representative. To do this, please call 17123, but not later than 24 hours before the beginning of the paid consultation.

Cancelling the time of the consultation

You can cancel a consultation reservation no later than 14 days after paying for the service, if the service has not yet been provided.

  • If you ordered a consultation on​ the Patient Portal at minu.synlab.ee, you can change the appointment time there, but not later than 24 hours before the beginning of the paid consultation. To do this, log in to the portal at minu.synlab.ee, select “​​Results” ​​on the right side of the page and then ​​”​​Orders”. With a consultation order, it is possible to cancel the booked time and specify the bank account where you wish to receive a refund.
  • If you ordered a consultation on site at a sample collection point, you can cancel the​​appointment​ ​time on the SYNLAB Patient Portal at minu.synlab.ee yourself, but not later than 24 hours before the beginning of the paid consultation. To do this, log in to the portal at minu.synlab.ee, select “​​Results” ​​on the right side of the page and then ​​”​​Orders”. With a consultation order, it is possible to cancel the booked time and specify the bank account where you wish to receive a refund. In addition, the time can be changed by a customer service representative. To do this, please send an unambiguous withdrawal application in a freely chosen form (stating your first name and last name, bank account number and name of the service you wish to cancel) to SYNLAB customer service within 14 days of paying for the service by e-mail at klienditugi@synlab.ee.

In both cases, we will refund the fee for the service immediately, but no later than within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal request from SYNLAB.

3. What to do if I can’t remember the time of the laboratory doctor/allergologist-immunologist consultation?

The time of the consultation can be checked on the Patient Portal. To do this, log in to the portal at ​minu.synlab.ee, select “Results” from the right side of the page and then “​Orders”.

In addition, you can always call our customer service on 17123 to check the time of the consultation.
